You may call me Als. Als is short for my real name, Allison, but most of my friends call me Als. I used to be really cool and ask people to call me City for no reason at all except I thought that it made me less likely to be a victim of internet troobles (spelled that way).

College-age. Born January 14th. I like dark chocolate and princes and accept gifts for all holidays.

My favorite things are old things, or at least things that appear to be old. For example, my favorite books are the ones that are crumbling with age. Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre to be exact. C.S. Lewis is also pure brilliance. I enjoy reading most things old-y and romantic-y or adventure-y or fairytale-retelling-y. If you have any recommendations, do tell.

Movies. I usually don't watch them too often, but it happens. Pride and Prejudice, Beauty and the Beast, Muppet Treasure Island, V for Vendetta, Dark Knight, The Count of Monte Cristo, Sense And Sensibility.

I write. I do not draw or blend or play music or sing (well). I have zero artistic ability outside of writing. Somehow, I'm currently rated high on Facebook for singing. STOP THAT NONSENSE. I also do math well and I run pretty well and I talk well. And I standardized test well. But that's it. Singing = not well.
